The challenges of dyslexic individuals in Nigerian education

Right from time immemorial, the Nigeria Education system, has been overlabored with growing people who are dyslexic. It is a negligible factor because it Is virtually conceived as an issue that should not arrest the concerns of those who are directors of most primary education foundation. There are a handful of individuals who have developed this reading challenge right from birth. Knowing that most Nigerian parents give a slim observation of how their children assimilate it challenges the fact that their reading and understanding habits are not given prior consideration.

Furthermore, one of the insisting factors which will pose a challenge to most patients of dyslexia is the condition of the country. For instance, growing children from the Northern part of Nigeria face terrible terrorism attacks. This is to underscore that there will be a good number of dyslexic individuals who will be coming out from this part of the country and the little or no help they receive, will impede their academic merit.

It is conceivable that dyslexic individuals are experiencing slow functionality of the brain and for a child to perform above average, especially candidates of this mental disorder, it is obtainable they are provided with careful tutors, who will not force their expectations on these people nor shame them for not performing well in areas that are related to the study of dyslexia challenge. In other words, rejuvenating their emotional maturity will authenticate their academic empowerment and will help reduce the number of dyslexic individuals.

 

It is very astonishing to note that a quality number do not notice they are undergoing this cerebral challenge. The more awareness is created; it will assist anyone to screen his or her mental capacity in order to realize his or her standard. The institutions of learning in their own level should employ certain implements, so as to help these people offset their learning barriers. There are those whose learning disabilities come from stress and depression, may be they struggle to pay their school fees and still merge to defining their academic performance, the government should have a board that will place such people in scholarships. And by so doing the energy they pull while trying to meet up to their dues will be channeled to resuscitating their academic laxities.
